Stability behavior of Steel–concrete Composite Beams subjected to hogging moment
Thin-Walled Structures, 2021Abstract The behavior of Steel–concrete Composite Beams (SCCB) under the action of hogging moment is not yet fully understood. In this condition, these structural elements may be subjected to local buckling or Lateral Distortional Buckling (LDB). LDB is a mode of stability in which the web must distort in order for the compression flange to displace ...

Flexural responses of steel-UHPC composite beams under hogging moment
Engineering Structures, 2020Abstract Using ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) in the hogging moment regions of composite beams might significantly enhance their cracking and flexural performance. In the present paper, the flexural test was performed on steel-UHPC composite beams with stud connectors (SU-S) and bolt connectors (SU-B) at the interface.

Experimental Study of Innovative Steel-Concrete Composite Beams under Hogging Moment
Advances in Structural Engineering, 2013This paper presents an innovative solution for steel-concrete composite beams under hogging moment. Compared to normal composite beams, additional concrete was cast inside the steel box girder of these innovative composite beams, aimed to increase the resistance to hogging moment.

Terrain Matching by Fusing HOG With Zernike Moments
IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2020A new matching algorithm is proposed by fusing the histogram of oriented gradients’ and the Zernike moments’ descriptors extracted from the real-time synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images and the real-time elevation maps (REMs), respectively. Both the SAR images and the REMs are acquired by an on-board interferometric SAR simultaneously.
