Study on fault mechanism of shaft hoist steelwork
AbstractSome achievements have been made in detecting the vibration faults in shaft hoist steelwork, but very little information is currently available to help study the faults mechanism. The faults during the run-ups stage are different from the faults during even speed stage.

Dynamic Modeling of Lift Hoisting Mechanism Block Pulley
AbstractThe mathematical model of loaded block pulley trolley movement was developed based on Lagrange equation of the second genus. The differential equations of loaded trolley motion were given along with the relations for viscoelastic block pulley characteristics based on empirical observations.

Dynamic weighted idle time heuristic for flowshop scheduling [PDF]
The constructive heuristic of Nawaz, Enscore and Ham (NEH) has been introduced in 1983 to solve flowshop scheduling. Many researchers have continued to improve the NEH by adding new steps and procedures to the existing algorithm.
