A Compact Hollow Fiber Electrode Assembly Architecture for Continuous Electrochemical Marine Carbon Dioxide Removal

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
A coaxial, membrane‐integrated hollow fiber electrode assembly (HFEA) is developed for continuous marine carbon mineralization. By utilizing a sub‐millimeter inter‐electrode gap, the HFEA minimizes Ohmic losses, achieving 50% energy reduction and over 85% DIC removal.

Quality Surface Analysis for Polarized Grid Plasma Nitridings

open access: yesThe Annals of “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati. Fascicle IX, Metallurgy and Materials Science, 2013
For the study regarding the effect of the polarized grid a prototype plasma nitriding facility was used. A polarized grid was placed inside the working chamber, into the space between the anode and cathode, a negative polarised grid.

Non-local model of hollow cathode and glow discharge

open access: yes, 2010
A general form of the non-local equation for an ionization source in glow discharge and hollow cathode 3D-simulation is formulated. It is a fundamental equation in hollow cathode theory, which allows formulation of a complete set of field equations for a

Nano‐Heterostructured TiO2‐TiO‐TiN/MoO3‐x‐Mo2N Composite LIB Anode With Enhanced Li+ Storage via Glycine‐assisted Anodization and Cathodic Deposition

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable, binder‐ and additive‐free strategy combining glycine‐assisted anodization and cathodic deposition is developed to fabricate a nano‐heterostructured composite LIB anode directly on titanium. Benefiting from its fully electrochemically active thick architecture, the anode delivers an outstanding areal capacity of 2639 µAh cm−2, nearly ...

Graphite Co‐Intercalation Chemistry in Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2025.
Traditional intercalation chemistry in lithium‐ion batteries cannot allow sodium storage in graphite. The co‐intercalation chemistry changes the situation. It enables reversible and ultrafast sodium storage in graphite. Revisiting challenges and summarizing recent advances are of significant importance to exploit the full potential of graphite in ...
