The Effects of PEI Hollow Fiber Substrate Characteristics on PDMS/PEI Hollow Fiber Membranes for CO2/N2 Separation

open access: yesMembranes, 2021
The CO2 separation from flue gas based on membrane technology has drawn great attention in the last few decades. In this work, polyetherimide (PEI) hollow fibers were fabricated by using a dry-jet-wet spinning technique.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Self‐Aggregation‐Induced Polymerization for Constructing Multifunctional Dynamic Zwitterionic Hydrogels

open access: yesAggregate
Zwitterionic hydrogels have attracted considerable attention as advanced biomaterials. However, the fabrication of traditional zwitterionic hydrogels typically relies on harsh polymerization conditions, and their backbone structures are non‐biodegradable.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

A Peptide‐Derived Aggregation‐Induced Emission Nanobioprobe: Unlocking Selective Detection of Fusobacterium nucleatum and Noninvasive Screening of Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAggregate
Colorectal cancer (CRC) screening and early diagnosis is an effective strategy for reducing CRC mortality. However, the current detection methods involve exorbitant costs and complex procedures, which are inconvenient for large‐scale screening. Given its
