Journal of the Society for Information Display, Volume 34, Issue 5, Page 254-263, May 2026.A thin Maxwellian‐view VR near‐eye display based on a holographic optical element (HOE) is presented. Integrating the HOE with the display panel eliminates the structural gap, achieving an 8‐mm internal spacing. Accommodation‐independent image sharpness is experimentally verified over a 0‐ to 3.3‐D range, mitigating the vergence–accommodation conflict.

physica status solidi (b), Volume 263, Issue 5, May 2026.Anticlastic curvature occurs in bent bars for positive Poisson's ratio; synclastic curvature occurs for negative Poisson's ratio provided the material is homogeneous and elastic. Some planar negative Poisson's ratio materials exhibit anticlastic saddle curvature rather than convex curvature in bending due to effects of 3D structure.
