Binocular holographic display based on the holographic optical element
Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2022Due to the limited pixel pitch of the spatial light modulator (SLM), the field of view (FOV) is insufficient to meet binocular observation needs. Here, an optimized controlling light method of a binocular holographic three-dimensional (3D) display system based on the holographic optical element (HOE) is proposed.

Interactive holographic display
SPIE Proceedings, 2014A holographic display which is capable of displaying floating holographic images is introduced. The display is for user interaction with the image on the display. It consists of two parts; multiplexed holographic image generation and a spherical mirror. The time multiplexed image from 2 X 10 DMD frames appeared on PDLC screen is imaged by the spherical

Abstract This is a short description of an optical holographic technique for storing a number of images on a single photographic plate. At present used for three-dimensional reconstruction of ultrasonic uterus scans, the system has potential for many other non-medical applications.

3D digital holographic display
The 17th Annual Meeting of the IEEELasers and Electro-Optics Society, 2004. LEOS 2004., 2004This study presents a 3D display system based on phase-shifting digital holography. This work also shows optical recording (within 30 frames/s) of a temporally changing 3D object and its numerical reconstruction. Thus, the system can be used for real-time recording, data transmission, and reconstruction of 3D object.

Holographic See-Through Displays
Digital Holography and Three-Dimensional Imaging 2019, 2019See-through displays, including head-up displays (HUD) and augmented reality (AR) displays, allow the viewer to see both the natural world and a projected image thanks to a combiner element. To offer larger field of view (FOV) and an increased eye box, holographic combiners have been used in the past.
