Holographic Displays for Computer Assisted Tomography
Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography, 1977Generalized holographic methods may be used to provide three-dimensional displays from a series of adjacent tomograms. Two such methods are described. In the first method, the tomograms are simultaneously recorded as a single "space-multiplex" hologram, which thus reproduces the N images in proper relation to each other in space.

Holographic - Liquid Crystal Displays
SPIE Proceedings, 1989This paper describes a new family of displays which combine the versatility of liquid crystal displays with the 3-D perception and look-around conveyed by holograms. Results obtained with computer generated stereograms, coupled to dynamic scattering and twisted nematic displays, will be discussed together with possible applications.

Properties of DMDs for holographic displays
Journal of Modern Optics, 2015Digital micromirror device’s (DMD) properties as being a display device for holographic displays are investigated. High speed, a large separation between reconstructed image and reconstruction beam, two symmetric diffraction patterns, and low intensity (0,0)th-order beam at a blazed grating condition are the desired properties for the displays.
