Speckle reference beam holographic and speckle photographic interferometry in non-destructive test systems [PDF]
The techniques of speckle beam holographic interferometry and speckle photographic interferometry are described. In particular, their practical limitations and their applications to the existing holographic nondestructive test system are ...

Imaging velocities of a vibrating object by stroboscopic sideband holography [PDF]
We propose here to combine sideband holography with stroboscopic illumination synchronized with the vibration of an object. By sweeping the optical frequency of the reference beam such a way the holographic detection is tuned on the successive sideband ...

Multilayer Optics for Synchrotron Applications
Multilayer optics play a significant role in the present and have substantial potential for the future synchrotron facilities due to their ability to generate constructive interference of both soft to hard X‐rays. This review provides a comprehensive overview of synchrotron multilayer optics, from their upstream theoretical design to their practical ...

Beam-modulation methods in quantitative and flow visualization holographic interferometry [PDF]
This report discusses heterodyne holographic interferometry and time-average holography with a frequency shifted reference beam. Both methods will be used for the measurement and visualization of internal transonic flows, where the target facility is a ...

Advances in Quantum Imaging with Machine Intelligence
Quantum imaging exemplifies the fascinating and counter‐intuitive nature of the quantum world, where non‐local correlations are exploited for the imaging of objects by remote and non‐interacting photons. The field has exploded of late, driven by advances in the fundamental understanding of these processes, but also by advances in technology.

Interferometry and Holography With Diode Laser Light [PDF]
We made an interferometric Michelson type setup and a simple holographic setup to demonstrate the feasibility of interferometric and holographic techniques by means of a diode laser. The laser was made by using a common diode available as a penlight element (less than R$ 15,00 value) and a simple stabilized 110 VCA- 3 VCC power supply.

Extracting fracture properties from digital image and volume correlation displacement data: A review
Abstract The advent of digital image and volume correlation has attracted wide use in fracture mechanics. The full‐field nature of digital image and volume correlation allows for the integration of computational fracture mechanics to analyse cracked samples quantitatively. This review provides a comprehensive overview of current methods used to extract
