Critical Role of Polymer Gate Dielectrics on the Charge Carrier Transport in Perovskite Field‐Effect Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Charge transport in 2D tin perovskite FETs is shown to be governed by dielectric interface behavior. Polar polymer dielectrics induce dipolar disorder that localizes carriers, whereas nonpolar polymers suppress trapping and enable superior charge transport, ensuring stable and reliable transistor operation. ABSTRACT Understanding the role of interfaces

Localized Temperature Monitoring in Mouse Brain during Light Delivery via a Non‐Planar Tapered Fiber‐Integrated µRTD Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...

Electrically controlled optical spectral filters for DWDM communication networks based on multiplexed three-layer holographic photopolymer-liquid crystal diffraction structures

open access: yesКомпьютерная оптика
This paper presents the diffraction characteristics of electrically controlled multiplexed three-layer holographic diffraction structures formed in photopolymer materials with a high proportion of nematic liquid crystals. The results obtained demonstrate

High efficiency and scalable fabrication of fresnel zone plates using holographic femtosecond pulses

open access: yesNanophotonics, 2022
To meet the growing demand for photonic integration and device miniaturization, planar diffractive Fresnel zone plates (FZPs) are widely applied in integrated optical systems.

Aerial Projection 3D Display Based on Integral Imaging

open access: yesPhotonics, 2021
We proposed an aerial projection 3D display based on integral imaging. It is composed of a projector, a lens-array holographic optical element (HOE), and two parabolic mirrors.

Pre-compensation method for optimizing recording process of holographic optical element lenses with spherical wave reconstruction.

open access: yesOptics Express, 2020
We propose a pre-compensated recording process of holographic optical element (HOE) lenses, where both of reference and signal waves have spherical wavefronts, for solving a wavelength mismatch problem between the recording and displaying process.

All‐Optical Reconfigurable Physical Unclonable Function for Sustainable Security

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐optical reconfigurable physical unclonable function (PUF) is demonstrated using plasmonic coupling–induced sintering of optically trapped gold nanoparticles, where Brownian motion serves as a robust entropy source. The resulting optical PUF exhibits high encoding density, strong resistance to modeling attacks, and practical authentication ...

Optical information processing based on an associative-memory model of neural nets with thresholding and feedback [PDF]

open access: yes, 1985
The remarkable collective computational properties of the Hopfield model for neural networks [Proc. Nat. Acad. Sci. USA 79, 2554 (1982)] are reviewed. These include recognition from partial input, robustness, and error-correction capability.

Highly Anisotropic Quasi‐Direct Organic Metal Halide Hybrids: A Platform for Polarization‐Sensitive Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
One‐dimensional C4N2H14PbBr4 is shown to have a quasi‐direct electronic band structure and strongly anisotropic transport with polarized broadband emission. A GW/Bethe–Salpeter excited‐state force formalism, supported by polarized Raman and temperature‐dependent photoluminescence, identifies low–frequency Pb–Br phonons that drive ultrafast exciton self‐

Full degree-of-freedom polarization hologram by freeform exposure and inkjet printing

open access: yesPhotoniX, 2023
Since the invention of holography by Dennis Gabor, the fabrication of holograms has mainly relied on direct recording of wavefront by engraving the intensity fringes of interfering electric fields into the holographic material. The degree-of-freedom (DoF)
