Computational methods for automated center determination in electron diffraction patterns

open access: yesJournal of Applied Crystallography, EarlyView.
This study evaluates and compares automated methods for center detection in 2D diffractograms. The methods have been implemented in EDIFF, an open‐source user‐friendly Python package for the processing of electron diffraction patterns.Accurate center detection in electron diffraction patterns is critical for all subsequent processing of experimental ...

Measuring Lead Userness: Development and Validation of a Hierarchical Scale

open access: yesCreativity and Innovation Management, Volume 34, Issue 4, Page 944-962, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Lead user theory has gained traction in both academia and practice, given that involving lead users (LUs) can yield more innovative and commercially successful products. Yet, measurement inconsistencies have hindered consensus on how to reliably assess lead userness.

Hyperspectral tomographic diffractive microscopy: Development and applications

open access: yesJournal of Microscopy, EarlyView.
Abstract Tomographic Diffractive Microscopy (TDM) provides label‐free three‐dimensional imaging of transparent samples with resolution surpassing confocal limits. At IRIMAS, successive instrumental developments since 2009 have enhanced TDM capabilities through transmission, reflection, isotropic, polarisation‐sensitive, and dual‐view configurations ...

Waveguide‐Based Four‐Channel Crosstalk‐Free Metahologram Multiplexed by Diffraction Orders

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 9, 13 May 2026.
A diffraction‐order‐multiplexed, four‐channel metahologram integrates a flat glass waveguide and an array of titanium dioxide nanopillars to realize crosstalk‐free holographic projection. Light undergoes total internal reflection within the waveguide and gets out‐coupled by diffraction from the nanopillar array.

Terahertz Encryption With a Polarization‐Sensitive Metasurface

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 9, 13 May 2026.
We propose a dual‐functional terahertz encryption metasurface that enables independent information retrieval in both the near field and the far field within a single device. In the near field, polarization‐selective amplitude modulation reveals textual patterns, whereas in the far field, phase engineering encodes multiple digital data in focal‐spot ...

Holographic Principle and Quantum Cosmology

open access: yes, 2005
Using the holographic entropy proposal for a closed universe by Verlinde, a bound on equations of state for different stages of the universe is obtained. Further exploring this bound, we find that an inflationary universe naturally emerges in the early universe and today's dark energy is also needed in the quantum cosmological scenario.

Octupolar AIEgens Photosensitizers With Enhanced Molar Absorptivity for Near‐Infrared Phototheranostics

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 5, May 2026.
Symmetry‐guided molecular engineering transforms dipolar AIEgens into octupolar AIEgens (D(A)3) with enhanced NIR‐II absorptivity. The octupolar architecture activates additional S0→S2 transitions and promotes efficient intersystem crossing, leading to strong reactive oxygen species generation.

Critical point drying of brain tissue for X‐ray phase‐contrast imaging

open access: yesJournal of Synchrotron Radiation, Volume 33, Issue 3, Page 759-768, May 2026.
X‐ray phase contrast tomography can efficiently image brain tissue at subcellular resolution. Critical point drying allows a gentle replacement of interstitial material by air, enhancing X‐ray phase contrast of the ultrastructural features.X‐ray phase‐contrast tomography can efficiently image brain tissue at subcellular resolution.

Holographic Principle Applications to Cosmology

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Research in Science, Communication and Technology
The holographic principle at first developed within the context of black hole thermodynamics. It has emerged as a central paradigm in the pursuit of a consistent theory of quantum gravity. All physical data inside a volume of spacetime may be presented on its outer surface; the main problems describe locality as well as dimensionality. It non-practical
