Medical applications of holographic stereograms

SPIE Proceedings, 1991
A method for displaying 3D images of medical objects by using holographic stereogram is described together with basic properties of reconstructed images of cylindrical holographic stereograms. INTRODUCTI ON A holographic stereogram (HS) is a synthesized hologram from an original film which consists of a series of ordinary photographs taken from ...

Three-dimensional TV using holographic stereogram

SPIE Proceedings, 2007
Computer holographic stereogram (CHS) is useful for holographic 3D TV because it is constructed from the multi horizontal viewpoint plane images and is compatible to the multi camera stereoscopic image. Each hologram is recorded as a slit hologram (element hologram) but total viewing area and the number of the element holograms have been limited to ...

The Distortion Analysis Of The Reconstructed Image Of The Holographic Stereogram

SPIE Proceedings, 1989
The plane type white light reconstructed holographic stereogram (PW-HS) is useful when portrait or other objects, which can riot be taken hologram directlytare chosen to the objects and are used for the cover of the books or the demonstration on the wall.

Multidot recording of rainbow and multicolor holographic stereograms

Optics Communications, 1994
Abstract A new method for rainbow and multicolor holographic stereograms is described using the technique of multidot recording, which was originally developed for the syntheses of full-parallax holographic stereograms. Instead of recording vertical parallax, an image of horizontal slit is synthesized for rainbow holography.

Numerical reconstruction of full parallax holographic stereograms

3D Research, 2012
Holographic printers based on holographic stereograms are constantly gaining popularity. A holographic stereogram is recorded using 2D images of the 3D object or scene that are captured from multiple perspectives. Separation of capture and recording steps as well as checking of quality of the achieved 3D representation requires replaying of the ...

A distortion compensation method for a conical holographic stereogram

Optical Review, 1994
An image processing technique to display a distortion-free reconstructed image from a rainbow type conical holographic stereogram is proposed. The method consists of forming a new set of 2D images from the original set by applying an image process. The image processing method is made through ray tracing equations.

Production Of Remote Sensed Holographic Stereograms In Canada

SPIE Proceedings, 1987
Currently, space image data of the earth's surface is being primarily used with emphasis on two-dimensional information content. Three-dimensional image data acquisition is now emerging through the multi-lateral viewing capability of new spaceborne Visible/Infrared, and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Systems. Using a multiplicity of digitally produced,

Layered holographic stereogram based on inverse Fresnel diffraction

Applied Optics, 2016
We propose an efficient algorithm using layered holographic stereogram for three-dimensional (3D) computer-generated holograms. The hologram is spatially partitioned into multiple holographic elements (hogels) to provide the occlusion effect and motion parallax by use of multiple viewpoint rendering.
