Robust Holographic Reconstruction by Deep Learning with One Frame
A robust method is proposed to reconstruct images with only one hologram in digital holography by introducing a deep learning (DL) network. The U-net neural network is designed according to DL principles and trained by the image data set collected using ...

Holostereosynthesis: An Improvement to Louis Lumière’s Photostereosynthesis Technique
In 1920, Louis Lumière, one of the fathers of Cinématograph, invented photostereosynthesis, a photography technique that could recreate three-dimensional images without a specific artifice.

Since 1975, the authors have introduced the new technology of holography for three-dimensional evaluation of neuroradiograms. In this study we holographed conventional tomograms, axial transverse tomograms, and CT scans of a dry cervical vertebralcolumn.

Fourier transform holography at the wavelength limit
Paper DTh2E.4We present a table-top Fourier transform holography experiment that achieved a record-high resolution of 34 nm. By employing phase retrieval techniques, the resolution was improved to 23 nm (

We present a new correspondence between a d-dimensional dynamical system and a whole family of (d+1)-dimensional systems. This new scale-holographic relation is built by the explicit introduction of a dimensionful constant which determines the size of the additional dimension.

We study a topological field theory in four dimensions on a manifold with boundary. A bulk-boundary interaction is introduced through a novel variational principle rather than explicitly. Through this scheme we find that the boundary values of the bulk fields act as external sources for the boundary theory.
