Multifocus dichromated gelatin hololens

Applied Optics, 1983
A method of making dichromated gelatin holographic lenses (hololens) with many equal intensity foci and some applications of the lens are described. The method employs a specially designed contact screen in a coherent optical spatial filtering system with the resulting holographic lens recorded in a dichromated gelatin film. The principle of the design

HoloLens in suturing training

Medical Imaging 2018: Image-Guided Procedures, Robotic Interventions, and Modeling, 2018
PURPOSE: A training module for basic suturing training called Suture Tutor was developed by combining video instruction and voice commands with the Microsoft HoloLens software. We put forth two hypotheses: Trainees find the HoloLens helpful and 2.) HoloLens helps the trainees to achieve a better score in objective skill assessment tests.

Hololens in speckle and speckle shear interferometry

Applied Optics, 1985
This paper presents a number of methods to obtain in-plane displacement, out of plane displacement and slope data using holographic optical elements. The results obtained with a hololens and a holoshear lens are as good as those obtained with conventional optical systems.
