During injury response, fibroblasts and endothelial cells accumulate at the site of damage, and cardiomyocyte cell cycle reentry allows cardiac muscle regrowth. Integrative Zoology, EarlyView.Vegetation cover promotes rodent activity and acorn dispersal, while wild boars exert a direct negative effect on mice. Conversely, deer and predators displayed no significant impact on rodent behavior. These results identify wild boars as the main disruptors of rodent‐mediated forest regeneration.
