Photo‐Empowered Macrophage‐Based Drug Delivery System Overcomes Motility Suppression and Significantly Enhances Deep Tumor Drug Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops a photo‐empowered macrophage‐based (PEM) drug delivery system that provides a novel and effective solution for restoring cellular motility to enhance drug delivery and overcome hypoxia‐induced multidrug resistance. The construction of the PEM system fully exploits the unique biological properties of macrophages and the energy ...

Nanoscopic Mapping of the Extracellular Space in Amyloid Plaque‐rich Cortex

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The extracellular space and diffusion around amyloid plaques are examined using shadow imaging and single‐particle tracking. Increased diffusivity is found near plaques, extracellular matrix alterations, and plaque core penetrability that varies with amyloid phenotype.

Reinstating Niche Failure in Diabetic Cranial Defects via Chronotaxic Signal‐Amplifying Fluidic Biomimetic Hydrogel

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An in situ moldable GelSSO/PDA@SDF hydrogel functions as a chronotaxic signal‐amplifying biomimetic niche to restore regenerative failure in diabetic cranial defects. By sequentially releasing SDF‐1α‐loaded PDA nanoparticles and osteoinductive oligodeoxynucleotides, it orchestrates immunomodulation, progenitor recruitment, angiogenesis, and ...
