Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, 1973ABSTRACT: A new Nursing‐Home Care Unit, opened at the Miami Veterans Administration Hospital in September 1970, is described. The aim is to take the best possible care of the residents in all aspects of their lives during the process of rehabilitation. The Unit could be regarded as a model for nursing homes everywhere.
