Retrospective analysis of the deaths investigated in the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the University of Cologne (1980-1993) revealed 215 fatalities in the bathtub comprising 11 homicides. In six cases mouth and nose were found beneath the surface of the water, and signs of drowning were encountered in four cases.

Homicides and Suspected Homicides in Singapore
Medicine, Science and the Law, 1973Details of 292 cases of homicide from Singapore during the years 1965–70 were tabulated and presented. It was calculated that the homicide rate was 2–5 per 100,000 population. A large proportion of the killings were done in gang clashes and in the heat of the moment, with few premeditated killings.

This report describes four cases of male homosexual homicide committed in Split County, Croatia, in 1991 and 1995. The homosexual orientation of the victims was determined by police investigation. Three middle-aged to elderly person were killed by an unknown offender or offenders, in very similar ways within a few months of end other in 1991.
