Effects of Alumina–Tantalum Hybrid Nanofragment on Engine Oil Flow Using a New Local Thermal Nonequilibrium Formulation

open access: yesComplexity, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
The aim of this work is to study the alumina–tantalum/motor oil hybrid nanoliquid flow in a porous cavity subjected to a uniform magnetic field. We have used the Darcy–Bénard convection model for the momentum equation and a new local thermal nonequilibrium formulation for heat transport.

Tightening Poincaré–Bendixson theory after counting separately the fixed points on the boundary and interior of a planar region

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations
This paper tightens the classical Poincaré–Bendixson theory for a positively invariant, simply-connected compact set $\mathcal M$ in a continuously differentiable planar vector field by further characterizing for any point $p\in \mathcal M$, the ...

New Solutions of Breaking Soliton Equation Using Softmax Method

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
This study presents the application of a novel Softmax method to obtain exact analytical solutions of the breaking soliton equation, a nonlinear partial differential equation that models complex wave phenomena. By transforming the governing equation into an ordinary differential equation using a traveling wave transformation and constructing a solution

Existence and Nonexistence of Periodic Solutions for a Class of Fourth‐Order Partial Difference Equations

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
In this paper, we investigate multiplicity, existence, and nonexistence of periodic solutions to a fourth‐order partial difference equation via linking theorem and saddle point theorem. Our obtained results significantly generalize and improve some existing ones.

The creation of homoclinic points of C1-maps

open access: yesTopology and its Applications, 1993
Let \(M\) be a closed \(C^ \infty\)-manifold, \(f: M \mapsto M\) a \(C^ 1\)- map and \(p \in M\) a hyperbolic fixed point of \(f\). The points of intersection of the stable and the unstable manifolds of \(p\) are called homoclinic points. The points of intersection of the stable manifold and the closure of the unstable manifold and those of the ...

Stability and Bifurcation Analysis of a Predator–Prey Model With Generalized Allee Effect on the Prey Population

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
This research describes a predator–prey system that takes into account the generalized Allee effect, aiming to derive general conclusions applicable to specific Allee effect functions through the use of a generalized function. To make sure the suggested model was accurate from a mathematical perspective, we first investigated the solutions to determine

Existence of a homoclinic point for the Hnon map

open access: yesCommunications in Mathematical Physics, 1980
We prove analytically that for the Henon map of the plane into itself (s, t)↦(t+1−1.4a2, 0.3s), there exists a transversal homoclinic point.

New features of circular geodesics in Kalb–Ramond gravity: an autonomous dynamical system approach

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
Kalb–Ramond gravity is expected to show the signatures of the low energy limit of the Lorentz violating extension of the standard model of particle physics.

On multi-lump solutions to the non-linear Schrodinger equation

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 1998
We present a new approach to proving the existence of semi-classical bound states of the non-linear Schrodinger equation which are concentrated near a finite set of non-degenerate critical points of the potential function.

Encryption of Color Images Based on Chaotic Attractors Generated by ODE Systems Containing Module Nonlinearities

open access: yesJournal of Optimization, Differential Equations and Their Applications
The main objective of this work is to construct an algorithm for modeling chaotic attractors using special neural ODEs with antisymmetric matrices (antisymmetric neural ODEs) and modular power nonlinearities.
