On primitives and conjugate harmonic pairs in hermitian Clifford analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The notion of a conjugate harmonic pair in the context of Hermitian Clifford analysis is introduced as a pair of specific harmonic functions summing up to a Hermitian monogenic function in an open region of .

Connectivity maintenance against link uncertainty and heterogeneity in adversarial networks

open access: yesHigh-Confidence Computing
This paper delves into the challenge of maintaining connectivity in adversarial networks, focusing on the preservation of essential links to prevent the disintegration of network components under attack.

On the mixed Cauchy problem with data on singular conics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We consider a problem of mixed Cauchy type for certain holomorphic partial differential operators whose principal part $Q_{2p}(D)$ essentially is the (complex) Laplace operator to a power, $\Delta^p$. We pose inital data on a singular conic divisor given

Polynomial description of inhomogeneous topological superconducting wires [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Condensed Matter, 2017
We present the universal features of the topological invariant for p-wave superconducting wires after the inclusion of spatial inhomogeneities. Three classes of distributed potentials are studied, a single-defect, a commensurate and an incommensurate ...

Investigation of Laser Ablation and Brush Pre‐Treatments for AlCu Cold Roll Bonding in Oxygen‐Free Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
It is shown that laser ablation pretreatment under oxygen‐free conditions enables copper–aluminium bonding at significantly lower deformation degrees and improved properties compared to mechanical brushing. Laser ablation further increases interface contact area and induces favourable residual stress states and microstructural compatibility ...

Some symmetry classifications of hyperbolic vector evolution equations

open access: yes, 2005
Motivated by recent work on integrable flows of curves and 1+1 dimensional sigma models, several O(N)-invariant classes of hyperbolic equations $u_{tx} =f(u,u_t,u_x)$ for an $N$-component vector $u(t,x)$ are considered.

Characterization of Nitinol Produced by Laser Powder Bed Fusion for Mechanical Metamaterial Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

Cardiac‐Derived ECM Microspheres for Enhanced hiPSC‐CMs Maturation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Cardiac extracellular matrix microspheres derived from decellularized porcine heart provide a biomimetic 3D microenvironment for human induced pluripotent stem cell–derived cardiomyocytes (hiPSC‐CMs). This platform supports short‐ and long‐term culture, enhances structural organization, and promotes electrophysiological and functional maturation of ...

Necessary conditions for classical super-integrability of a certain family of potentials in constant curvature spaces

open access: yes, 2010
We formulate the necessary conditions for the maximal super-integrability of a certain family of classical potentials defined in the constant curvature two-dimensional spaces.

Multiplex Modular Nanorobotic Systems with Catalytic Activity under Magnetic Navigation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We present modular nanorobots composed of a magnetic propulsion module and different extension modules carrying functional activities, assembled via DNA base pairing. The system integrates propulsion, optical tracking, enzymatic catalysis, and cell docking in a programmable manner.
