Unsupervised and interpretable track‐to‐track association based on homography estimation of radar bias

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation
Track‐to‐track association methods based on machine learning and deep learning have greatly improved the association results, but the scope of application is limited by the poor interpretability and manual association labelling.

Deep Image Homography Estimation

open access: yesCoRR, 2016
We present a deep convolutional neural network for estimating the relative homography between a pair of images. Our feed-forward network has 10 layers, takes two stacked grayscale images as input, and produces an 8 degree of freedom homography which can be used to map the pixels from the first image to the second.

Deep Learning-Based Monocular Estimation of Distance and Height for Edge Devices

open access: yesInformation
Accurately estimating the absolute distance and height of objects in open areas is quite challenging, especially when based solely on single images. In this paper, we tackle these issues and propose a new method that blends traditional computer vision ...

MVI‐Depth: Multi‐View Indoor Depth Estimation Based on the Fusion of Semantic Information

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, Volume 11, Issue 1, Page 98-110, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Compared to monocular depth estimation, multi‐view depth estimation often yields more accurate results. However, traditional multi‐view depth estimation methods often fail to leverage semantic information fully and struggle to effectively fuse information from multiple views, leading to suboptimal prediction performance in challenging ...

A Vision‐Based Motion Compensation Method for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

open access: yesIET Cyber-Systems and Robotics, Volume 8, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
ABSTRACT In target tracking under background motion scenarios, background movement often significantly compromises detection and tracking accuracy. This paper proposes a visual motion compensation algorithm for unmanned aerial vehicles, integrating feature point detection, matching and robust geometric estimation methods.

Stay Local or Go Global: Geo‐Referenced Bounding Boxes for Tracking Wildlife in Thermal Drone Videos

open access: yesIET Computer Vision, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
An overview of the geo‐referenced drone‐based detection and tracking pipeline is presented. The workflow begins with flight execution, including mission planning, control, RTK‐based positioning and image metadata acquisition. In the pre‐processing stage, video synchronisation, frame extraction and camera‐calibration‐based undistortion are performed ...
