Iterative Deep Homography Estimation

open access: yes2022 IEEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), 2022
We propose Iterative Homography Network, namely IHN, a new deep homography estimation architecture. Different from previous works that achieve iterative refinement by network cascading or untrainable IC-LK iterator, the iterator of IHN has tied weights and is completely trainable.

STN-Homography: estimate homography parameters directly

open access: yesCoRR, 2019
In this paper, we introduce the STN-Homography model to directly estimate the homography matrix between image pair. Different most CNN-based homography estimation methods which use an alternative 4-point homography parameterization, we use prove that, after coordinate normalization, the variance of elements of coordinate normalized $3\times3 ...

A Multiobjective Approach to Homography Estimation

open access: yesComputational Intelligence and Neuroscience, 2016
In several machine vision problems, a relevant issue is the estimation of homographies between two different perspectives that hold an extensive set of abnormal data. A method to find such estimation is the random sampling consensus (RANSAC); in this, the goal is to maximize the number of matching points given a permissible error (Pe), according to a ...

Combining Convolutional Neural Network and Photometric Refinement for Accurate Homography Estimation

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Homography estimation refers to the problem of computing a 3 × 3 matrix which transfers image points between two images of a planar scene or two images captured from the same location. While existing algorithms exploiting hand-crafted sparse image

AbHE: All Attention-based Homography Estimation

open access: yesCoRR, 2022
Homography estimation is a basic computer vision task, which aims to obtain the transformation from multi-view images for image alignment. Unsupervised learning homography estimation trains a convolution neural network for feature extraction and transformation matrix regression. While the state-of-theart homography method is based on convolution neural

Deep Image Homography Estimation

open access: yesCoRR, 2016
We present a deep convolutional neural network for estimating the relative homography between a pair of images. Our feed-forward network has 10 layers, takes two stacked grayscale images as input, and produces an 8 degree of freedom homography which can be used to map the pixels from the first image to the second.

Deep Homography Estimation and Its Application to Wall Maps of Wall-Climbing Robots

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
When locating wall-climbing robots with vision-based methods, locating and controlling the wall-climbing robot in the pixel coordinate of the wall map is an effective alternative that eliminates the need to calibrate the internal and external parameters ...
