LocalTrans: A Multiscale Local Transformer Network for Cross-Resolution Homography Estimation [PDF]
Cross-resolution image alignment is a key problem in multiscale gigapixel photography, which requires to estimate homography matrix using images with large resolution gap. Existing deep homography methods concatenate the input images or features, neglecting the explicit formulation of correspondences between them, which leads to degraded accuracy in ...

Integrating Optical Feedback Alignment and Fluidic Control for Multiphase Flow-Assisted In Situ 3D Printing. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Additive manufacturing is transforming how microfluidic devices are prototyped and fabricated. Among various 3D printing methods, stereolithography (SLA) has become a dominant technique for microfluidics due to its high resolution and design flexibility, with widespread use in lab‐on‐a‐chip applications.

Online Estimation of Ship Dimensions by Combining Images with AIS Reports
Ship dimensions are an important component of static AIS information, and are a key factor in identifying the risks of ship collisions. We describe a method of extracting and correcting ship contour information using inland waterway surveillance video ...

Fast Aerial Image Geolocalization Using the Projective-Invariant Contour Feature
We address the problem of aerial image geolocalization over an area as large as a whole city through road network matching, which is modeled as a 2D point set registration problem under the 2D projective transformation and solved in a two-stage manner ...

Three-Dimensional Reconstruction-Based Vibration Measurement of Bridge Model Using UAVs
This paper presents a measurement method of bridge vibration based on three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction. A video of bridge model vibration is recorded by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and the displacement of target points on the bridge model is ...

Multi‐scale homography estimation based on dual feature aggregation transformer
Abstract The accuracy of registration in image stitching task directly affects the performance of subsequent stages. Traditional registration methods rely heavily on the quality of the features when calculating the homography matrix, resulting in alignment failures in low‐texture or low‐overlap scenes due to extracting insufficient ...

Aggregation of Convolutional Neural Network Estimations of Homographies by Color Transformations of the Inputs [PDF]
The standard approach to the estimation of homographies consists in the application of the RANSAC algorithm to a set of tentative matches. More recent strategies based on deep learning, namely convolutional architectures, have become available. In this work, a new algorithm for the estimation of homographies is developed.
