Algorithms for determining the type of algebraic hyperstructures and morphisms [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics and Computational Sciences
In this paper, we present some primary methods to define a hypergroupoid by algorithm. Then, we present algorithms for checking if it is closed under ο, associativity, weak associativity, commutativity, weak commutativity, establishing the reproduction ...

The Complexity of Homomorphism Factorization [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
We investigate the computational complexity of the problem of deciding if an algebra homomorphism can be factored through an intermediate algebra. Specifically, we fix an algebraic language, L, and take as input an algebra homomorphism f between two finite L-algebras X and Z, along with an intermediate finite L-algebra Y.

Conveniently Hoelder homomorphisms are smooth in the convenient sense

open access: yes, 2004
We show that every 'conveniently Hoelder' homomorphism between Lie groups in the sense of convenient differential calculus is smooth (in the convenient sense).

Spectrum boundary domination of semiregularities in Banach algebras

open access: yesOpen Mathematics
Let A{\mathcal{A}} be a complex unital Banach algebra and (R1,R2{R}_{1},{R}_{2}) be a pair of semiregularities in A{\mathcal{A}}. In order to investigate the boundary of spectra in the axiomatic theory of spectrum, this article defines the concept of ...

Graph Relations and Constrained Homomorphism Partial Orders [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
We consider constrained variants of graph homomorphisms such as embeddings, monomorphisms, full homomorphisms, surjective homomorpshims, and locally constrained homomorphisms. We also introduce a new variation on this theme which derives from relations between graphs and is related to multihomomorphisms.

Stability of -Jordan Homomorphisms from a Normed Algebra to a Banach Algebra

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
We establish the hyperstability of -Jordan homomorphisms from a normed algebra to a Banach algebra, and also we show that an -Jordan homomorphism between two commutative Banach algebras is an -ring homomorphism.

Exoteric homomorphisms

open access: yesJournal of Pure and Applied Algebra, 1987
AbstractR is a commutative reduced ring. If X⊆R,rR(X)={r∈R:Xr=0}. A ring homomorphism f : R → S is an exoteric homomorphism if for all pairs (I, J) of finitely generated ideals of R, rR(I) = rR(J) implies rS(f(I)) = rS(f(J)). Rings for which Qmax(R), the maximal quotient ring of R, is a flat R-module and rings which contain no finitely generated dense ...

Degree-Constrained Steiner Problem in Graphs with Capacity Constraints

open access: yesMathematics
The degree-constrained Steiner problem in graphs is well known in the literature. In an undirected graph, positive integer degree bounds are associated with nodes and positive costs with the edges.

Q-soft Translation of Q-soft Subgroups

open access: yesJournal of New Theory, 2020
In this study, we introduce the concept Q-soft translations of Q-soft subgroups. Next we investigate the properties of them and we prove that every Q-soft translation of Q-soft subgroup is also Q-soft subgroup.

Characterization and Cohomology of Crossed Homomorphisms on Lie Superalgebras [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
In this article, we give a characterisation of crossed homomorphisms on Lie superalgebras as a Maurer-Cartan element of a graded Lie algebra. Using this characterisation we study cohomology of these crossed homomorphisms. As an application of this cohomology we study formal deformation of crossed homomorphisms. We show that linear deformations of these
