Stability of the equation of homomorphism and completeness of the underlying space [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2008
We prove that all assumptions of a Theorem of Forti and Schwaiger (cf. [G. L. Forti, J. Schwaiger, Stability of homomorphisms and completeness, C. R. Math. Rep. Acad. Sci.

On Nielsen equivalence classes of two‐element generators of mapping class groups

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 58, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract We show that there are infinitely many Nielsen equivalence classes of the mapping class group of a closed oriented surface of genus at least eight.

Homomorphisms of separoids

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Discrete Mathematics, 2007
Abstract The notion of separoid homomorphisms was introduced in [Nesetřil, J., and R. Strausz, Universality of separoids, Arch. Math. (Brno) 42 (2006), 85–101], by Jarik Nesetřil and the author, where it was proved that separoids endowed with such maps constitute a dense and universal category.

Totally elliptic surface group representations

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 58, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract A surface group representation into a Lie group is totally elliptic if every simple closed curve on the surface is mapped to an elliptic element. In this note, we characterize all totally elliptic surface group representations into PSL2R$\operatorname{PSL}_2 \mathbb {R}$ and PSL2C$\operatorname{PSL}_2\mathbb {C}$ by showing that they are ...

Groups with a finite Busemann boundary are virtually cyclic

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 58, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract This note is a continuation of the study of the relationship between the geometry of Cayley graphs and the size of its metric‐functional boundary. We show that if there exists a Cayley graph with finitely many Busemann points, then the underlying group is virtually cyclic.

A birational description of the minimal exponent

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 114, Issue 2, August 2026.
Abstract We give a description of the minimal exponent of a hypersurface using higher direct images of suitably twisted sheaves of log forms on a log resolution.

Finding an almost perfect matching in a hypergraph avoiding forbidden submatchings

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 114, Issue 2, August 2026.
Abstract In 1973, Erdős conjectured the existence of high girth (n,3,2)$(n,3,2)$‐Steiner systems. Recently, Glock, Kühn, Lo, and Osthus and independently Bohman and Warnke proved the approximate version of Erdős' conjecture. Recently, Kwan, Sah, Sawhney, and Simkin proved Erdős' conjecture.

Homomorphic relation on hyperingoinds and join hyperrings

open access: yesRatio Mathematica, 1999
This paper is a study of the Join Hyperringoid, which is a hypercompositional structure that has appeared recently. Here appear the homomorphic relations and a special type of such relations, the congruence ones.

Ordered Kernels of OBCI-Algebras in the Homomorphism Environment

open access: yesMathematics
Yang, Roh and Jun recently introduced kernels of homomorphisms in OBCI-algebras and left an ordered generalization of those kernels as a future work.

On n-Derivations and n-Homomorphisms in Perfect Lie Superalgebras

open access: yesMathematics
Let n≥2 be a fixed integer. The aim of this paper is to investigate the properties of n-derivations within the framework of perfect Lie superalgebras over a commutative ring R. The main result shows that if the base ring contains 1n−1, and L is a perfect
