Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Sexual orientation and drive: a comparative pilot study on sexual desire [PDF]
Many studies addressing sexual drive and hypersexuality stated that homosexuals are used to report higher levels of sexual desire and compulsive sexual behaviors. Literature showed a lack of comparisons between perceived level of desire in hetero and gay

Band Alignment in In‐Oxo Metal Porphyrin SURMOF Heterojunctions
Porphyrin core metalation in indium‑oxo SURMOFs enables systematic tuning of band edge positions without altering the crystal structure. First‑principles calculations reveal type‑I and type‑II heterostructures as well as multi‑junction energy cascades, establishing a modular strategy for exciton funneling and charge separation in optoelectronic ...

Photoswitching Conduction in Framework Materials
This mini‐review summarizes recent advances in state‐of‐the‐art proton and electron conduction in framework materials that can be remotely and reversibly switched on and off by light. It discusses the various photoswitching conduction mechanisms and the strategies employed to enhance photoswitched conductivity.

Homosexuals and the U.S. Military: Current Issues [PDF]
[Excerpt] In 1993, new laws and regulations pertaining to homosexuals and U.S. military service came into effect reflecting a compromise in policy. This compromise, colloquially referred to as “don’t ask, don’t tell,” holds that the presence in the armed

MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...
