Applications and common coupled fixed point results in ordered partial metric spaces
In this paper, we obtain a unique common coupled fixed point theorem by using ( ψ , α , β ) $(\psi , \alpha , \beta )$ -contraction in ordered partial metric spaces. We give an application to integral equations as well as homotopy theory. Also we furnish

Tensorial permanence of K$K$‐stability for diagonal AH‐algebras
Abstract We study K$K$‐stability for tensor products of diagonal AH‐algebras with arbitrary C*‐algebras. Our main result provides a characterization of K$K$‐stability: For a diagonal AH‐algebra A=lim→(Ai,φi)$A = \varinjlim (A_i, \varphi _i)$, A⊗B$A \otimes B$ is K$K$‐stable for every C*‐algebra B$B$ if and only if the sizes of the matrix blocks in the ...

These notes describe some of the homotopy theory surrounding Davis-Januszkiewicz spaces, moment-angle complexes and their generalizations to polyhedral products. These spaces are defined by gluing together prod- ucts formed from pairs of spaces (X, A), where the gluing is determined by the faces of a simplicial complex K. The emphasis is on determining

Stabilization of Poincaré duality complexes and homotopy gyrations
Abstract Stabilization of manifolds by a product of spheres or a projective space is important in geometry. There has been considerable recent work that studies the homotopy theory of stabilization for connected manifolds. This paper generalizes that work by developing new methods that allow for a generalization to stabilization of Poincaré duality ...

On the homotopy theory of $n$-types [PDF]
An n-truncated model structure on simplicial (pre-)sheaves is described having as weak equivalences maps that induce isomorphisms on certain homotopy sheaves only up to degree n. Starting from one of Jardine's intermediate model structures we construct such an n-type model structure via Bousfield-Friedlander localization and exhibit useful generating ...

A User''s Guide to Solving Dynamic Stochastic Games Using the Homotopy Method [PDF]
This paper provides a step-by-step guide to solving dynamic stochastic games using the homotopy method. The homotopy method facilitates exploring the equilibrium correspondence in a systematic fashion; it is especially useful in games that have multiple ...

The C_2 effective spectral sequence and the homotopy of ko_{C_2}
By work of Voevodsky, the slice filtration in motivic homotopy theory provides a powerful tool for computing homotopy groups of motivic spectra. In this talk, I will describe the motivic slice filtration and the effective slice spectral sequence it ...

Recent Advances in Lp-Theory of Homotopy Operator on Differential Forms
The purpose of this survey paper is to present an up-to-date account of the recent advances made in the study of Lp-theory of the homotopy operator applied to differential forms.

The fundamental group of the complement of a generic fiber‐type curve
Abstract In this paper, we describe and characterize the fundamental group of the complement of generic fiber‐type curves, that is, unions of (the closure of) finitely many generic fibers of a component‐free pencil F=[f:g]:CP2⤍CP1$F=[f:g]:\mathbb {C}\mathbb {P}^2\dashrightarrow \mathbb {C}\mathbb {P}^1$.

Given a small category C, we show that there is a universal way of expanding C into a model category, essentially by formally adjoining homotopy colimits. The technique of localization becomes a method for imposing `relations' into these universal gadgets.
