Evaluating the Impact of Putative Metformin Targets on Cancer Outcomes: A Drug-Target Mendelian Randomization Study. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Aims Observational studies show metformin use associated with lower cancer risk, although experimental evidence is inconsistent. To provide genetic validation for repositioning of metformin in cancer prevention, we assessed genetically proxied effects of putative metformin targets on cancer outcomes using a drug‐target Mendelian randomization (

A blue‐hazard‐free single‐emissive‐layer white OLED is realized using an anti‐quenching multiple‐resonance TADF emitter, BNCT. By integrating a sterically protected MR core with efficient energy transfer capability, BNCT enables warm‐white emission with high efficiency, negligible hazardous blue photons, and a simplified device architecture for next ...

Diurnal Air–Surface Temperature Dynamics in Hong Kong: An Analysis Across Land Use and Climate Zones
Daytime and nighttime air temperature (Ta) from automatic weather stations and land surface temperature (Ts) derived from ASTER and Landsat 8–9 are used to examine the relationship between Ta and Ts. The spatial and statistical characteristics of Ta − Ts dynamics are further analysed across land use (LU) and local climate zones (LCZ).
