SUMMARY To investigate a dermatologie condition observed clinically, 10 Beagle bitches were infected percutaneously with 50 3rd-stage larvae of Ancylostoma caninum. Dermatitis resulted that was characterized by pruritus, erythema, and papules from which penetration tracts could be traced histologically into the epidermis.
