This cross‑sectional observational study assessed the prevalence and diversity of intestinal parasitic infections in humans and livestock in a rural highland community of Nepal. Intestinal parasite infections remain highly prevalent (53.3%) among the Bantar community in Sunsari, Nepal, with Ascaris lumbricoides being the most common parasite and nail‐biting habit identified as a significant risk factor. The findings highlight the urgent need for targeted water, sanitation, hygiene, and health education interventions.
