Survey effort and targeted landbird community metrics at Indiana lowland forest restoration sites
Abstract Many sampling and analytical methods can estimate the abundance, distributions, and diversity of birds and other wildlife. However, challenges with sample size and analytical capacity can make these methods difficult to implement for resource‐limited monitoring programs.

In this paper, we begin the study of zero-dimensional field theories with fields taking values in a semistrict Lie 2-algebra. These theories contain the IKKT matrix model and various M-brane related models as special cases.

British education research and its quality: An analysis of Research Excellence Framework submissions
Abstract We analysed the full text of all journal articles returned to the education subpanel of the 2021 Research Excellence Framework (REF2021). Using a latent Dirichlet allocation topic model, we identified 35 topics that collectively summarise the journal articles that research units, typically schools of education, selected for submission.

Finite element modeling of viscoelastic liquid crystal elastomers
Abstract Liquid crystal elastomers (LCEs) are elastomeric networks with anisotropic monomers that reorient in response to applied loads, and in particular, thermomechanical loads. LCE complex microstructures translate into complex behaviors, such as soft elasticity, rate‐dependency, and hysteresis.

Inflation surprises in a New Keynesian economy with a “true” consumption function
Abstract The resurgence of inflation has been accompanied by a reversal of prospects of growth, with a prominent role assigned to the fall of households' purchasing power. Yet this real income effect of inflation surprises, independent of restrictive monetary policy, is not present in the standard New Keynesian models for monetary policy.

Two circular incompressible liquid inclusions
Abstract We apply Muskhelishvili's complex variable method to solve the plane strain problem associated with two circular incompressible liquid inclusions embedded in an infinite isotropic elastic matrix subjected to uniform remote in‐plane normal stresses. An analytical solution to the problem is derived primarily with the aid of conformal mapping and
