2018This chapter is interested in the wave dispersion effects in Kolsky-Hopkinson bar machine. First, Section 6.2 introduces how to assess wave dispersion parameters in three-dimensional elastic and viscoelastic bars using analytical analysis. Subsequently, Sect. 6.3 introduces experimental techniques used to measure the wave dispersion.
