A Type I Hyperbolic Metamaterial Driven by Phonons on ZnO
Advanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.This article reports the first realization of a phonon‐driven type I hyperbolic metamaterial with ZnO/(Zn,Mg)O heterostructures. By adjusting the Mg content and layer thickness ratio, it establishes a clear framework for achieving and tuning the type I hyperbolic region via phonon resonances.

Beam Combining of a Tunable Tilted Quantum Cascade Laser Array
Advanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.The four‐channel tilted waveguide with varying angles in the quantum cascade laser array, achieving a free tuning range of 100 nm and common‐aperture output simultaneously, is reported. The fabrication eliminates the necessity of electron‐beam lithography and is very promising for mass production in gas sensing industry.
