3D PRINTING OF ABS+ MATERIAL BENDING TESTS IN PRINTING POSITION B – VERTICAL POSITION [PDF]

open access: yesFiabilitate şi Durabilitate
The present work is part of a series of works that deal with the manufacture by 3D printing of some specimens for mechanical tensile and bending tests. The samples are made by 3D printing from three types of materials such as ABS+, PETG and PLA+.

Extending 3D concrete printing to hard rock tunnel linings : adhesion of fresh cementitious materials for different surface inclinations

open access: yes, 2023
As an emerging automated construction technology, 3D concrete printing opens the opportunity for the construction of hard rock tunnel linings. However, very limited studies were carried out in this regard, especially the adhesion between freshly printed ...

Tensile Behavior of Chain Links Made of Polymeric Materials Manufactured by 3D Printing

open access: yes, 2023
For reduced mechanical stress, some chains with links made of metallic materials could be replaced by chains made of polymeric materials. A lower weight and a higher corrosion resistance would characterize such chains.

METHOD TO CALIBRATE THE HORIZONTAL (CROSS-WEB) POSITION OF A FIDUCIAL MARK SENSOR

open access: yes, 2023
This disclosure describes a new method to calibrate the cross‐web position of a fiducial mark sensor relative to the content that is printed upstream of the sensor. The method involves printing a pattern of horizontal and diagonal lines, using the sensor

Design and simulation of a large-scale 3D printing system using truncated tetrahedral tensegrity robot

open access: yes, 2021
"We designed a new large-scale 3D printing system using a tetrahedral tensegrity robot with six struts connected with the cable. Three struts that form a bottom triangle are carbon pipes, and the other three diagonal struts are made of a linear actuator.

Pengaturan Orientasi Posisi Objek Pada Proses Rapid Prototyping Menggunakan 3D Printer Terhadap Waktu Proses Dan Kwalitas Produk [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Rapid prototyping can be defined as the methods used to create a scale model (prototype) from the start part of a product (part) or assembly (assembly) quickly by using the data of computer aided design (CAD) three dimensional. In the process of printing

Laser Powder Bed Fusion of Alumina: Effects of Scanning Strategies on External and Internal Defects

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates how scanning strategies affect pure alumina in laser powder bed fusion. Linear 45° scanning yields uniform surfaces but high porosity, while the island‐concentric strategy provides higher density with through‐holes favorable for infiltration. Findings highlight pathways toward optimizing defect‐free alumina parts.
