Thermal Well Testing For a Horizontal Well
Annual Technical Meeting, 1992Abstract Horizontal wells are becoming popular for primary and enhanced oil recovery operations because of unique advantages of horizontal wells in comparison to those for vertical wells. Monitoring the progress of a steam injection process requires a knowledge of the steamswept volume, as this provides a measure of

Multilateral Horizontal Well Productivity
SPE Europec/EAGE Annual Conference, 2005AbstractThis paper presents experimental and theoretical investigations of multilateral/duallateral horizontal well performance in areally anisotropic reservoirs. The investigation is based on a 3D analytical solution. The analytical solution considers an arbitrary orientation of the multilaterals/duallaterals in horizontal plane.Experimental study was

3‐D seismic and horizontal wells
SEG Technical Program Expanded Abstracts 1991, 1991The Rainbow evaporite basin, centered on latitude 58°N and longitude 119°W, is situated approximately 900 km from Calgary in the remote northwest corner of Alberta, Canada. It is approximately 30 × 30 km in areal extent with a relatively uneventful surface topography which is covered by muskeg and stunted coniferous forest.
