Broadband Half Mode Substrate Integrated Waveguide H-plane Horn Antenna

open access: yesMajlesi Journal of Electrical Engineering, 2023
A compact, wideband, low cost, high radiation efficiency and planar half mode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW) horn antenna is proposed in this work. For the first time, HMSIW is used to design a horn antenna.

Low-Profile Dual-Polarized Antenna Integrated with Horn and Vivaldi Antenna in Millimeter-Wave Band

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
In this paper, a dual-polarized antenna based on a substrate-integrated waveguide (SIW) horn antenna and Vivaldi antenna is proposed. The horizontal polarization (HP) is achieved by using the H-plane SIW horn antenna, while the vertical polarization (VP)

Geodesic H-Plane Horn Antennas

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2023
This article describes a detailed procedure that allows for a time-efficient design of fully metallic geodesic H -plane horn antennas using an in-house ray-tracing method together with an optimization algorithm. With all the propagation in the air, geodesic H -plane horn antennas are low-loss and highly efficient.
