Planar Pyramidal Horn Antenna Without Any E-Plane Flaring for 5G Applications
This paper presents, for the first time, a planar implementation of a pyramidal horn antenna for 5G millimeter-wave (mmWave) applications. A substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) based planar H-plane horn antenna is designed and judiciously modified to ...

‘Greening’ is often depicted as an inherently benevolent practice, turning arid stretches of land into arable and fertile plots. However, by considering a longer history of place and taking archival records into account, such transformations are rendered more complex and, often, more fraught.

Absolute gain measurement by the image method under mismatched condition [PDF]
Purcell's image method for measuring the absolute gain of an antenna is particularly attractive for small test antennas. The method is simple to use and utilizes only one antenna with a reflecting plane to provide an image for the receiving antenna ...

This study employs an AI‐driven multidisciplinary approach to increase our understanding of the toxicological effects of sublethal concentrations of carlina oxide on Prostephanus truncatus. Sublethal exposure to the carlina oxide induced changes in motor patterns and thigmotaxis, highlighting its potential role in integrated pest management strategies.

High‐Yield Assembly of Plasmon‐Coupled Nanodiamonds Using DNA Origami for Tuned Emission
Engineering assemblies of single‐photon emitters and plasmonic elements with nanometer precision opens pathways for quantum sensing and photonics applications. A surface functionalization strategy is established for grafting DNA onto nanodiamonds, and their placement on DNA origami is optimized to achieve yields above 50%.

This study uses nanocellulose crystals (NCCs) as the precursor for graphene production. The NCCs are pyrolyzed at 500–800 °C and then converted to graphene in the vortex fluidic device using only water as the solvent. The graphene shows a relatively high quality and TEM confirming <6 layers.

Pattern measurements of a low-sidelobe horn antenna [PDF]
The techniques and results of power pattern measurements of a corrugated horn antenna designed for low sidelobes are reported. The power pattern was measured to levels 90 dB below the main beam maximum in both the E- and H-planes.
