Broadband Achromatic Programmable Electromagnetic Camouflage via Fluidic‐Accessible Metasurface

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A fluidic access metasurface enables dynamic, broadband electromagnetic illusions. By physically reconstructing conductive patterns with liquid metal, the metasurface achieves real‐time, pixel‐level control over phase dispersion. This allows for the programmable generation of arbitrary strong scattering point arrays, effectively deceiving high ...

Surface roughness impact of 3D Ti-alloy printed WR-10 waveguide and rectangular horn antenna at W-band (75-110 GHz)

open access: yesMicro and Nano Systems Letters
To investigate the effect of the surface roughness of 3D-metal-printed sub-THz components, the WR-10 3-inch-long waveguide and 24 dBi rectangular horn antenna were 3D-metal-printed using a titanium alloy powder and a high-resolution 3D metal printer. The

Measured performance of the half-scale accurate antenna reflector [PDF]

open access: yes
A corrugated horn was designed and fabricated for use as a feed for the half-scale accurate antenna reflector. This feed allows the reflector to be used in a compact range configuration as part of a microwave reflectance measuring system. The horn design

Non‐Uniform Space‐Time‐Coding Modulation for Low‐Complexity Diagnostics of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A diagnostic method for reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) based on non‐uniform space‐time‐coding modulation is presented. Fault localization is achieved via amplitude‐only spectral measurements, eliminating the need for complex signal processing. A one‐to‐one mapping between harmonic components and RIS elements enables accurate detection.

Compact H-Plane CLAF-SIW Horn Antenna With Phase Front Correction

open access: yesIEEE Access
This work presents an H-plane contactless air-filled substrate-integrated waveguide (CLAF-SIW) horn antenna, whose directivity is enhanced by incorporating a metalens along the horn flaring.

Analytical High-efficiency Spot beam Model for High Throughput Satellites [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We develop a simple model for a feed horn with a uniformly excited circular aperture at the focus of an offset paraboloidal reflector antenna and compare it with reflector antenna analyses using combinations of circular waveguide TE1n modes.

A General and Efficient Framework for the Rapid Design of Miniaturized, Wideband, and High‐Bit RIS

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A general and efficient framework is proposed for the rapid design of high‐performance reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs). This framework integrates advanced antenna design techniques and incorporates various load types, quantities, and values to achieve the design of high‐performance RISs.

Horn antenna with v-shaped corrugated surface [PDF]

open access: yes, 1975
Corrugated shape is easily machined for millimeter wave application and is better suited for folding antenna designs. Measured performance showed ""V'' corrugations and rectangular corrugations have nearly the same pattern beamwidth, gain, and impedance.

Reflex feed system for dual frequency antenna with frequency cutoff means [PDF]

open access: yes, 1978
A reflex feed system is described for a dual frequency antenna such as one which transmits and receives both S and X band signals. The dichroic plate, normally employed for directing X band radiation away from the X band horn, is replaced by a flange ...
