Part B: Pattern control of horn antennas [PDF]

open access: yes
During this period, the computations of the impedance elements were completed. These include interactions between the two electric current modes, the elecric current mode and the magnetic current mode, and the two magnetic current modes.

A General and Efficient Framework for the Rapid Design of Miniaturized, Wideband, and High‐Bit RIS

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A general and efficient framework is proposed for the rapid design of high‐performance reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs). This framework integrates advanced antenna design techniques and incorporates various load types, quantities, and values to achieve the design of high‐performance RISs.

High Performances Corrugated Feed Horns for Space Applications at Millimetre Wavelengths

open access: yes, 2002
We report on the design, fabrication and testing of a set of high performance corrugated feed horns at 30 GHz, 70 GHz and 100 GHz, built as advanced prototypes for the Low Frequency Instrument (LFI) of the ESA Planck mission.

Compact fully metallic multi‐mode waveguide antenna for cellular communications

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation
The needed isolation between elements for high‐performance beam steering array antennas is a challenging task especially when the distance between the antenna elements is reduced.

Focal axis resolver for offset reflector antennas [PDF]

open access: yes, 1983
Method and apparatus for determining the focal axis of an asymmetrical antenna such as an offset paraboloid reflector whose physical rim is not coincident with the boundary of the electrical aperture but whose focal point is known is provided.

Revisiting a long‐overlooked skull: Implications for the distribution of Dinodontosaurus brevirostris (Kannemeyeriiformes) in the Brazilian Triassic

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Dicynodonts (Anomodontia: Dicynodontia) were one of the main groups of terrestrial tetrapods in Permian and Triassic faunas. In Brazil, the genus Dinodontosaurus is one of the most common tetrapod taxon in the Triassic Santa Maria Supersequence. This genus has a complex taxonomic history and is represented in the Triassic of both Argentina and

Integrated terahertz TEM horn antenna

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2007
A terahertz transverse electromagnetic horn antenna (THz-TEMHA) monolithically integrated on a gallium arsenide substrate has been studied by means of subpicosecond pulses generated and measured on a 50 Ω coplanar waveguide. The measured reflection coefficient is below −10 dB from 100 GHz to about 1 THz.

Broadening the semiaquatic scene: Quantification of long bone microanatomy across pinnipeds

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Investigations of bone microanatomy are commonly used to explore lifestyle strategies in vertebrates. While distinct microanatomical limb bone features have been established for exclusively aquatic and terrestrial lifestyles, identifying clear patterns for the semiaquatic lifestyle remains more challenging.
