Iron (Fe) deficiency limits the physical health, cognitive development, and economic output of billions of people globally, especially children and productive‐age women. Tef is an underutilized and stress‐resilient crop, which is becoming popular for its grains containing high bioavailable Fe and has the potential to mitigate Fe deficiency.

Quantifying Migratory Bat Movements in Central Europe Across Seasons and Years Using a Vertical‐Looking Radar

Vertical‐looking radar provides a first multi‐year analysis of migratory bat phenology in Europe. Bat activity was lowest in winter, increased from spring, and peaked in summer, with similar timing of pre‐ and post‐maternity migrations across years.

Synthetic Imagery Improves Ecological Classification When Real Data Are Scarce, Not Direct Substitutes

Image generation models can create synthetic ecological datasets and potentially alleviate limitations from sparse real data. Using 20 tree genera across community‐science and street‐view imagery, we tested whether synthetic images could replace or supplement real data for image classification.
