Robot-assisted partial nephrectomy for renal cell carcinoma in the isthmus of horseshoe kidney

Abstract Fishes of the genus Enchodus were abundant and cosmopolitan in the Late Cretaceous, but are primarily known from isolated remains in Canada. Four well‐preserved fish skulls were recovered in recent years from ammolite mines sampling the Bearpaw Formation of Southern Alberta, and are here referred to Enchodus petrosus Cope, 1874.

Multimodality imaging spectrum of complications of horseshoe kidney
Horseshoe kidney is the most common congenital renal fusion anomaly with an incidence of 1 in 400–600 individuals. The most common type is fusion at the lower poles seen in greater than 90% of the cases, with the rest depicting fusion at the upper poles,

The functional role of GABA and glycine in monaural and binaural processing in the inferior colliculus of horseshoe bats [PDF]
The functional role of GABA and glycine in monaural and binaural signal analysis was studied in single unit recordings from the central nucleus of the inferior colliculus (IC) of horseshoe bats (Rhinolophus rouxi) employing microiontophoresis of the ...

Highly localized horseshoe ripplons and solitons in positive dispersion media [PDF]
In this study, we systematically review various ripplon solutions to the Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation with positive dispersion (KP1 equation). We show that there are mappings that allow one to transform the horseshoe solitons and curved lump chains of

Sensory trait variation in an echolocating bat suggests roles for both selection and plasticity [PDF]
Background: Across heterogeneous environments selection and gene flow interact to influence the rate and extent of adaptive trait evolution. This complex relationship is further influenced by the rarely considered role of phenotypic plasticity in the ...
