All‐In‐One Iontronic Sensing Aligner for High‐Precision 3D Orthodontic Force Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A wireless, battery‐free orthodontic sensing system is developed by integrating a cross‐shaped iontronic sensor and an origami‐inspired NFC circuit into clear aligners. This all‐in‐one device enables real‐time, in vivo 3D force monitoring with high precision and long‐term stability, providing clinicians with quantitative biomechanical feedback to ...

An Active, Multimodal Neural Interface for Real‐Time Monitoring of Cortical Electrical, Thermal, and Optical Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A chronically implantable neural interface enables real‐time multimodal monitoring of electrical, thermal, and photodynamic activities. Incorporating silicon‐based transistor arrays with a functional multiplexing strategy and resistive sensors, the device delivers high‐fidelity recordings with long‐term stability and biocompatibility.

Structure‐Tailoring Cerium Nanozymes with Self‐Cascade ROS Scavenging Catalysis Modulate the Microbiota‐Gut‐Joint Axis for Rheumatoid Arthritis Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A valence‐engineered CeOX nanozyme, with its Ce3+/Ce4+ ratio precisely controlled within the range of 0.27 to 0.93 through Au deposition, performs a self‐cascade oxidase‐superoxide dismutase‐peroxidase reaction, enabling continuous reactive oxygen species scavenging while minimizing oxygen generation.

Association Between 5-Star Nursing Home Report Card Ratings and Potentially Preventable Hospitalizations [PDF]

open access: yesINQUIRY: The Journal of Health Care Organization, Provision, and Financing, 2018
Nursing homes’ publicly reported star ratings increased substantially since Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’s Nursing Home Compare adopted a 5-star rating system. Our objective was to test whether the improvements in nursing home 5-star ratings were correlated with reductions in rates of hospitalization.

Electrosensitive Heterogeneous Short Fibers via Acousto‐Electric Coupling for Sequential Bone Regeneration in Infectious Defects

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Electrosensitive heterogeneous short fibers can accurately respond to ultrasonic field regulation through the synergistic interaction of piezoelectric and conductive dual elements. At an ultrasound intensity of 1.5 W cm−2, it can effectively activate bacterial peroxisome and necrotic apoptotic pathway and promote bacterial apoptosis.
