Non-equilibrium of Ionization and the Detection of Hot Plasma in Nanoflare-heated Coronal Loops
Impulsive nanoflares are expected to transiently heat the plasma confined in coronal loops to temperatures of the order of 10 MK. Such hot plasma is hardly detected in quiet and active regions, outside flares.

The lamina joint determines leaf angle and plant architecture. Xu et al. establish a live‐imaging system for the rice lamina joint and reveal that asymmetric epidermal cell elongation and division between the lateral and medial edges drive leaf angle formation.

The Origin of Hot Subluminous Horizontal-Branch Stars in Omega Centauri and NGC 2808
Hot subluminous stars lying up to 0.7 mag below the extreme horizontal branch (EHB) are found in the UV color-magnitude diagrams of omega Cen and NGC 2808. Such stars are unexplained by canonical HB theory.

Cellular Identity Crisis: RD3 Loss Fuels Plasticity and Immune Silence in Progressive Neuroblastoma
Researchers discovered that therapy‐induced loss of RD3 protein in neuroblastoma triggers a dangerous shift: cancer cells become more stem‐like, invasive, and resistant to treatment while evading immune detection. RD3 loss suppresses antigen presentation and boosts immune checkpoints, creating an immune‐silent environment.

The Efficacy of Herbal Medicines for Treatment of Hot Flash: A Systematic Review
Background: Hot flashing is the most common symptoms experienced by women around the menopause time. The most common therapy for relief of menopausal symptoms is Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), but it has side effects. So, many women are interested in

Planetary nebulae after common-envelope phases initiated by low-mass red giants
It is likely that at least some planetary nebulae are composed of matter which was ejected from a binary star system during common-envelope (CE) evolution.

Renal fibrosis, a hallmark of CKD, lacks effective treatments. Herein, we developed a multimodal AI model (TCM‐SPred) to identify anti‐fibrotic agents and found that dehydrocostus lactone (DCL) targets IQGAP1 to inhibit Wnt signaling, blocking the interaction between IQGAP1 and CCT3, demonstrating potent anti‐fibrotic activity in vitro and in vivo ...

Pulsational instabilities in hot pre-horizontal branch stars
The ϵ mechanism is a self-excitation mechanism of pulsations which acts on the regions where nuclear burning takes place. It has been shown that the ϵ mechanism can excite pulsations in models of hot helium-core flash, and that the pulsations of LS IV-14·

Cooling curves and initial models for low-mass white dwarfs (<0.25 Msun) with helium core
We present a detailed calculation of the evolution of low-mass ($< 0.25~M_\odot $) helium white dwarfs. These white dwarfs (the optical companions to binary millisecond pulsars) are formed via long-term, low-mass binary evolution.

Thermoelectric Property Mapping for High‐Performance Integrated MgAgSb‐MgCuSb System
From the property mapping of the MgAgSb–MgCuSb system, both thermoelectric materials and corresponding interface materials are optimized: Ag‐rich compositions provide higher PF and zT, whereas Cu‐rich side yields superior transport properties and low contact resistance.
