Thermoelectric Modules Incorporating MgAgSb and Mg3(Sb,Bi)2 Synthesized Using a Melting Method
A scalable synthesis method for a thermoelectric material of MgAgSb is established. A thermoelectric power module of MgAgSb/Mg3(Sb,Bi)2 is fabricated, showing the conversion efficiency of 7.4% at ΔT = 315 K. The performance is comparable to conventional Bi2Te3 modules when they are operated with an air‐cooled heat exchanger.

An Adaptive Read-Write Partitioning Flash Translation Layer Algorithm
The classic demand-based flash translation layer (DFTL) algorithm is well-known since it can solve the contradiction between mapping flexibility and the size of mapping cache by dynamically loading mapping entries.

The flash point of elemental sulfur: Effect of heating rates, hydrogen sulfide, and hydrocarbons
Facilities for the storage and handling of liquid sulfur are designed to avoid fires to prevent (a) deflagration, (b) breaching of hot-liquid and (c) the emission of highly toxic sulfur dioxide.

The Hottest Horizontal-Branch Stars in omega Centauri - Late Hot Flasher vs. Helium Enrichment
UV observations of some massive globular clusters uncovered a significant population of very hot stars below the hot end of the horizontal branch (HB), the so-called blue hook stars.

Element Abundance Determination in Hot Evolved Stars
The hydrogen-deficiency in extremely hot post-AGB stars of spectral class PG1159 is probably caused by a (very) late helium-shell flash or a AGB final thermal pulse that consumes the hydrogen envelope, exposing the usually-hidden intershell region. Thus,

Unleashing the Power of Machine Learning in Nanomedicine Formulation Development
A random forest machine learning model is able to make predictions on nanoparticle attributes of different nanomedicines (i.e. lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, or PLGA nanoparticles) based on microfluidic formulation parameters. Machine learning models are based on a database of nanoparticle formulations, and models are able to generate unique solutions

The importance of NCO chain on the onset of the He-flash in degenerate physical conditions has been reevaluated. We find that low-mass, metal-rich (Z $\ge$ 0.001) structures climbing the Red Giant Branch do never attain the physical conditions suitable ...
