During the Late Permian, the rise of the Gondwanides Belt trapped marine waters, giving birth to a vast megalake. This lake shifted between overfilled, balanced‐fill and underfilled stages that are recorded by high‐frequency accommodation changes, while meteorological seiches shaped the sedimentary dynamic and produced heterolithic beds.

Hot Isostatic Pressing of Beryllium Oxide

Tuning the Phase Structure and Electrical Properties of BNKT‐Based Ceramics via Li+ Doping
Li+‐doped Bi0.5[Na0.84‐xK0.16Lix]0.5TiO3 lead‐free piezoelectric ceramics are fabricated. The optimized composition delivers a high piezoelectric coefficient d33 and elevated depolarization temperature Td. It also shows large electrostrain and high Curie temperature, greatly extending the working temperature range for BNT‐based piezoelectric ...

Abstract It is recognized that mantle plumes play a direct role in generating regional uplift and producing immense volumes of basaltic magmatism, both of which can influence paleoclimate. The Icelandic Plume, beneath the North Atlantic Ocean, is of particular importance due to its size and position at a significant paleoceanographic gateway.
