A Hybrid Computational Framework for PCF‐based SPR Sensor With Machine Learning and xAI
A photonic crystal fiber‐based surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor integrating rectangular air holes along with conventional circular air holes achieves exceptional wavelength sensitivity of 15,000 nm/RIU across a broad refractive index range of 1.31–1.39. Integrated machine learning with explainable AI (xAI) models achieves high prediction accuracy

JINA Workshop Nuclear Physics in Hot Dense Dynamic Plasmas [PDF]
Measuring NEET and NEEC is relevant for probing stellar cross-sections and testing atomic models in hot plasmas. Using NEEC and NEET we can excite nuclear levels in laboratory plasmas: (1) NIF: Measure effect of excited nuclear levels on (n,{gamma ...

Band Alignment and Composition of the Buried TiO2/GaInP Interface
Buried TiO2$\text{TiO}_2$/GaInP interfaces formed by mild plasma‐enhanced ALD are shown to be largely insensitive to the initial GaInP surface condition. Angle‐dependent photoelectron spectroscopy reveals similar interfacial chemistry and band alignment for phosphorus‐rich and naturally oxidized surfaces, demonstrating a robust pathway for reproducible

Quantifying ionization in hot dense plasmas
Ionization is a problematic quantity in that it does not have a well-defined thermodynamic definition and yet it is a key parameter within plasma modeling. One still therefore aims to find a consistent and unambiguous definition for the ionization state.

Flexible Wide Bandgap Electrode System for In situ Cell Sensing and Irreversible Electroporation
The paper reports the design and wafer‐level microfabrication of a long‐lived, flexible 3C‐SiC electrode capable of sensitive and in situ cell sensing, as well as electroporation ablation. The work demonstrates a biocompatible and durable electrode platform that can perform reliable electrical interfacing with biological tissues over extended periods ...

Al2O3 Ring Array by Infiltration Synthesis in Polystyrene Antidot Template
Different morphologies, such as full dots for genuine PS‐b‐PMMA, residual dots for the PS antidot array (resulting from an Acetic Acid (AA) last PS‐b‐PMMA), and rings for the modified PS antidot array (derived from an O2 plasma last PS‐b‐PMMA), originated from SIS process in PS‐b‐PMMA BCP array, due to the different reaction sites for the TMA precursor

Skin‐Like Tri‐Modal Sensors Based on Soft Piezoelectric and Ionic Composites
Inspired by the multimodal perception of human skin, a soft, skin‐like tri‐modal sensor is presented. The device incorporates an ionically conductive, piezoelectric, elastic composite as its active layer, enabling independent detection of temperature, static strain, and dynamic strain within a single two‐terminal architecture.
