Ultrafast (1‐5 sec) Lamination of Perovskite Solar Cells With Self‐Encapsulation Using Rapid Joule Heating

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Halide perovskite solar cells are fabricated with self‐encapsulation by lamination between two glass substrates using rapid Joule heating, yielding a 99% reduction in lamination time compared to previous studies. An 18% efficient cell is laminated in 5 s, demonstrating the potential for scalable manufacturing. ABSTRACT Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are

Magnetic Textiles: A Review of Materials, Fabrication, Properties, and Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Magnetic textiles (M‐textiles) are emerging as a programmable materials platform that merges magnetic matter with hierarchical textile structures. This article consolidates magnetic material classes, textile architectures, and fabrication and magnetization strategies, revealing structure–property–function relationships that govern magneto‐mechanical ...

Hawking radiation via tachyon condensation and its implications to tachyon cosmology

open access: yes, 2015
Hawking radiation can be derived from the collapsing process of matter to form a black hole. In this work, we show in more detail that the freely infalling process of a probe (D-)particle (or point-like object) in a non-extreme black hole background is ...

Gear Hot-Rolling Machine

open access: yesBulletin of JSME, 1961
In order to investigate the structure of the gear rolling machine which is suitable for manufacturing practical gears, the author made experimentally various gear rolling machines, and compared their performances. The results reveal that the most accurate gears are rolled by using a double-side-pressing type hydraulic rolling machine.

Texture Measurement by Neutron Diffraction for A1 Nonstandard Steel Bars [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Texture measurements are used to determine the orientation distribution of crystalline grains in a polycrystalline sample. A material is termed textured if the grains are aligned in a preferred orientation along certain lattice planes.
