NIPPON KAGAKU KAISHI, 1941 第三報1)に引續いて北海道の若干の温泉を分析し特に弗素含量を調べた.大體温泉水1l中に弗素は1mg前後に含有されてゐる様である.只,川湯温泉のみは著しく弗素含量大でF0.0169g/lを示した.弗素の定量法としてM. D. Fosterのロダン鐵による比色法を檢討し,若干改良するところあつた.特に比色に供する溶液のpHを常に一定に保つ必要を認め,グリココール,食鹽-鹽酸の緩衝液(pH2.8)を使用することにした.
