Liquid Metal Induced Embrittlement of Zn-coated Hot Stamping steel
Liquid-metal-induced embrittlement (LMIE) of galvanized hot stamping steel occurs due to the simultaneous application of stress and the presence of a liquid Zn surface layer during the hot stamping process.

This study investigates the feasibility of scaling up Prussian White (PW)‐based cathode manufacturing at a pilot scale. Through careful PW dehydration combined with optimized aqueous processing, we report the stepwise development of industrially relevant 1 Ah pouch cells and evaluate their performance under various conditions.

Oxygen substitution in NaTaOxCl6‐2x drives structural evolution from isolated [TaCl6]– octahedra, through oxygen‐bridged [Ta2OCl10]2– dimers, toward extended trans‐[TaO2Cl4]3– chain‐like arrangements. At intermediate compositions, zero‐dimensional corner‐sharing motifs are proposed to create a flexible, disordered framework that peaks ionic ...

A thin gold nanolayer on lithium metal enables stable and uniform lithium plating in solid‐state batteries, enabling nearly 1 year and 11 months of continuous operation. The conductive coating lowers interfacial resistance, suppresses dendrite growth, and improves cycling stability, attributed to homogeneous deposition of Li+ on the gold layer ...

A New Wear Calculation Method for Galvanized Ultra-High-Strength Steel during Hot Stamping
In the hot stamping process, the friction and wear interaction between the high-temperature sheet metal and the water-cooled die has a significant impact on the final quality of the product and the durability of the die.

Determination of Heat Transfer Coefficient for Hot Stamping Process [PDF]
© 2015 The Authors. The selection of the heat transfer coefficient is one of the most important factors that determine the reliability of FE simulation results of a hot stamping process, in which the formed component is held within cold dies until fully ...

ABSTRACT Background Outdoor agricultural workers experience significant heat exposure, yet few studies have evaluated whether wearable sensors can reliably measure continuous physiological responses in real field conditions. This pilot study examined the feasibility and predictive utility of core temperature, hydration, heart rate, and movement data ...

The fossil record stays silent: Confusions and conundrums for hominin pelvis evolution
Abstract The evolution of the hominin pelvis is commonly modeled as a series of stages driven largely by the requirements of bipedal locomotion, reproduction, thermoregulation, and pelvic floor muscular support. These patterns are complicated by variation in canal dimensions in relationship with different changes in overall pelvic breadths. To quantify
