Nature‐Inspired Sustainable Cooling for Photovoltaics with Enhanced Temperature‐Salinity Dynamics
Addressing solar panel overheating, a nature‐inspired cooling system mimicking ocean currents is developed. A moisture‐absorbing solution layer uses sunlight, radiative cooling, and moisture processes to create temperature/salinity gradients, accelerating circulation. The prototype cools panels by up to 18.2 °C under sunlight, sustains cooling, rapidly

Self‐Immolative Activatable Nanoassembly toward Immuno‐Photodynamic Therapy in TME
A quinone methide‐gated, self‐immolative, H2O2‐responsive nano‐photosensitizer (Pyz/PS) is developed for targeted immuno‐photodynamic therapy. Pyz/PS selectively activates within tumor microenvironments, restores photosensitizer activity, generates ROS, and depletes intracellular GSH, enhancing oxidative stress.

A food‐grade cooling composite made from starch and recycled eggshell powder offers a scalable, ultra‐low‐cost solution for passive daytime radiative cooling. Easily prepared using basic kitchen tools, this material empowers communities, even in areas with limited infrastructure, to stay cooler during worsening summer heat waves.

Short-term hot hardness characteristics of rolling-element steels [PDF]
Short-term hot hardness studies were performed with five vacuum-melted steels at temperatures from 294 to 887 K (70 to 1140 F). Based upon a minimum Rockwell C hardness of 58, the temperature limitation on all materials studied was dependent on the ...
