High‐Gain Ag2Te/MoS2 Hybrid Photodetectors for Short‐Wave Infrared Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A precision‐engineered short‐wave infrared image sensor based on a 0D/2D Ag2Te/MoS2 hybrid structure is demonstrated in this work. The device exploits photodoping at the nanoscale interface to achieve broadband detection from visible to infrared wavelengths with high responsivity and fast response.

Oxygen Evolution Reaction Catalysts for Acidic‐Media CO2 Electrolyzers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Acidic‐media CO2 electroreduction (CO2R) could decarbonize chemical production, despite relying on rare‐earth elements for anodic oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Transferring the learnings from mature sister technologies (water electrolysis) could accelerate technological development.

Diamond deposition on thin cylindrical substrates [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society, 2011
Diamond coatings were deposited onto different cylindrical substrates (Cu, SiC, W and Mo) by the hot filament chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method. Continuous, adhered and well-faceted crystalline coatings of diamond were obtained on Cu-wire using a ...

Evaluation of mean and turbulent velocity measurements in subsonic accelerated boundary layers [PDF]

open access: yes
Exploratory measurements of the mean and turbulent flow in the wall boundary layer of a 15.5- by 10.2-cm channel were obtained as part of an instrumentation development program for measurements in compressible flow.

Low Resistance Interphase Formation at the PEO‐LiTFSI|LGPS Interface in Lithium Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Interfacial charge transfer and low‐resistance interphase formation between PEO‐based polymer and Li10GeP2S12 solid electrolytes are investigated using multi‐electrode impedance spectroscopy and advanced analytical techniques such as XPS and ToF‐SIMS.

Light‐Controlled Exposure of Cancer Cells to Reactive Oxygen Species Using Organic Semiconductor Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Spin‐coated films of the conjugated polymer F8T2 (poly (9,9‐dioctylfluorene‐alt‐bithiophene)) generate superoxide at the film‐medium interface, enabling precise delivery of reactive oxygen species (ROS) as visible‐light “ROS patches.” Coated surfaces drive rapid, localised cytotoxicity in MCF7 cancer monolayers under white light, providing a reagent ...

Detection of incoherent broadband terahertz light using antenna-coupled high-electron-mobility field-effect transistors

open access: yes, 2017
The sensitivity of direct terahertz detectors based on self-mixing of terahertz electromagnetic wave in field-effect transistors is being improved with noise-equivalent power close to that of Schottky-barrier-diode detectors.
